Log Cabins Holidays with Dogs
Here at Bechan Retreats, we welcome well-behaved dogs to come and stay with their owners.
We have four comfy lodges to choose from – all of which are dog-friendly:
- Kite’s Nest can accommodate up to four people and two dogs
- The Woodpecker and The Kingfisher can accommodate up to four guests and one dog
- Barn Owl cabin can accommodate up to six humans and two dogs

Call us biased, but Bechan Retreats is set in a beautiful corner of the world! And what could be better than exploring such spectacular scenery with your loyal hound by your side?
From rolling hills and epic waterfalls to rugged mountains, Elan Valley Nature Reserve and the Brecon Beacons National Park, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
At the end of a day of fresh air adventures, you’ll discover a number of very good dog-friendly pubs in our local area. Tuck into a pint and a delicious hearty meal while your contented four-legged friend is offered a treat and curls up by the fire.
Pet-Friendly Cabins in Mid-Wales
During your stay, please feel free to walk your dog around Pant Wood, within our farm boundary. We also have an enclosed paddock – next to Kingfisher and Woodpecker cabins – which is ideal for ball throwing and some off-lead zoomies.
Our luxury cabins are designed for ultimate comfort for humans, but your dog will also enjoy the underfloor heating. We have warm water taps outside, enabling you to wash your dog off after a rural hike or beachy run.
