Our local country pub serves great gastro pub classics and the Sunday roasts are a highlight – it’s doubtful that you’ll need dessert! They are dog-friendly.

The Waggon & Horses, Newtown

The Waggon & Horses, Newtown

One of our favourite places for food in Newtown (and for miles and miles!). Nice atmosphere and good beer. Pretty hard to find a criticism. Price-wise, it’s very reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended as some of the best pub food in mid-Wales.
