Our 4-person luxury lodge, Kites Nest, sits at the helm of a hidden valley. Surrounded by green fields, ancient woodland and a flourishing array of natural wildlife, this peaceful oasis feels a million miles from the pressures of the modern world.

With one double bedroom and an extra-soft sofa bed, Kite’s Nest is the perfect retreat for a small family break or romantic lodge getaway. And – as with all our accommodation – Kite’s Nest is a pet-friendly lodge. We welcome well-behaved dogs because we understand how important it is to have your canine companion join you for your holiday!

There are plenty of local activities and walks on offer, within a short distance of our dog-friendly lodges. With a path from the lodge itself meandering through the ancient woodland behind. What’s more, Newtown and Montgomery are only a few miles away, with tea rooms, bistros and lovely restaurants should you fancy going out for a bite to eat.

However, you may simply want to relax and unwind in this gorgeous natural setting, with just the birds and the bees for company. Sitting on the valley slope, our luxury lodge cabin perfectly soaks up the sun as it sweeps through the valley and enjoys simply stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Bechan Retreats is the ideal spot for countryside lodge getaways in mid-Wales. Whether you’re looking for a cosy, comfy activity base, or just want to relax and soak away your day in the hot tub spa with a glass of bubbles, Kite’s Nest is the perfect place to get away from it all.
