The Kingfisher sits perched above Bechan Brook, at the base of an old grassland field. Kingfisher is just one of our romantic lodges with hot tubs, ideal for a couples’ getaway.

The Kingfisher is perfectly suited to couples, however with a soft sofa bed in the living area,  the cabin is also suitable for a break with a young family. The log cabin with its luxurious hot tub is tastefully furnished and has everything you need for a comfy stay, including luxurious bedding, underfloor heating and a fully equipped kitchen. We also welcome well-behaved dogs to our pet-friendly lodges in Wales.

A slope from The Kingfisher to the brook offers a large open space with picnic tables and a fire pit – it’s the perfect space for guests to relax and kids to play. It’s also a great spot for paddling and wildlife spotting. From the banks of the brook. you’ll see kingfishers, dragonflies, trout and maybe even an otter! Cattle and sheep graze the pasture behind the cabin and beyond is an ancient woodland, home to badgers, foxes and the majestic red kite. If your canine best friend has joined you, we have a secure paddock for ball throwing and play.

There are many lovely local eateries close by, including tea rooms, gastro pubs, bistros and quality restaurants. Woodland walks can start from our lodge retreats, with many more fun activities and places to visit in the local area and Wales as a whole.

The Kingfisher has a fabulous  hot tub with jets that comfortably seats up to four guests. If relaxing and taking in the peace and beautiful countryside is on the agenda, you’ll enjoy the elevated balcony overlooking the brook, lounging on the large patio or unwinding in the hot tub with a glass of fizz.

Our holiday lodges with hot tubs are ideal for romantic trips, family breaks or a comfortable base for a more active holiday – the perfect place to get away from it all.

• Luxury bathroom with large shower. Towels provided 1 x Bath towel & 1 x hand towel per guest
• Living area with table and chairs and comfy sofa bed.
• 42-inch 4K Smart TV with Free-view.
• Wi-Fi available.

• Balcony overlooking the brook with 2-person bistro set for enjoying a glass of bubbly in the evenings.

• Large area of open garden below , perfect for running around and paddling in the brook
• BBQ chefs table suitable for instant disposable BBQ’s – available Easter until end October –  Instant BBQ’s can be purchased from us or brought with you.
• You will walk over Bechan Brook via a small stepped bridge which has romantic lighting after dusk. The  footpath also lights your way after dusk.  The path from the car park is gravel  so please use suitable luggage for your stay. Disabled parking available.
