It is called ‘Beyond Breakout-Magic Portal’; a  magical game of solving clues and collecting crystals to save the world from the goblins!!

Wales tourist attractions

If you’re looking for days out in Wales, we have some great ideas. Take in panoramic views from Montgomery Castle’s ruined battlements or stroll around Gregynog Hall & Garden – 750 acres of estate land which is designated as a National Nature Reserve and Grade 1 listed gardens. We also love mediaeval Powis Castle & Garden – a jewel in the crown of the National Trust.

Walking in Wales

From the Berwyn Mountains to Llyn Mawr Reserve, the natural scenery in this part of the world is quite wonderful! And, since all our accommodation is dog-friendly, you may well have brought a canine companion along for a walking holiday. Here are some trails and spots to explore during your stay:

  • Kerry Ridgeway

An ancient drovers route with fantastic views.

  • River Severn Path: Newtown to Abermule

Take a pleasant trail along the River Severn, starting in Newtown and following the meandering river through the countryside.

  • Montgomery Castle and Town Hill Circular

You’ll see atmospheric castle ruins as well as endless rolling hills on this trail through the beautiful Welsh countryside.

  •  Lake Vyrnwy

Hire a bike and ride around the picturesque lake (about 12 miles). Visit the sculpture park and RSPB Centre before enjoying a cake in one of the cafes.

  • Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall

About an hour’s drive from Newtown, through some beautiful scenery, the stunning waterfall has a drop of 80 metres. You’ll need to wear good shoes!
