Meet Mantis, Gamora, Nebula, and Wanda: Our Marvel-Inspired Pygmy Goats
A lovely new edition to Bechan Retreats is the arrival of four baby pygmy goats who we have named Mantis, Gamora, Nebula and Wanda as we are all Marvel Fans 🙂
Instantly we’ve found out that unlike full size breeds of goat which climb and jump great heights to escape, pygmy’s can squeeze through a hole or gap just big enough for a cat!!!
Much fence proofing has been needed and still occasionally ourselves and guests wake up to little goats trotting about really chuffed with themselves. Fortunately they are not difficult to herd back up as being very food orientated the shake of a bucket and they come running.
Their paddock is located along the track for The Kingfisher and The Woodpecker, so do go and say hello and make a fuss of them . They are totally adorable and the children are loving them.
